Cub Scout Blue & Gold cake #1. The scarf is made from fondant. The rest is chocolate cake with raspberry filling covered in buttercream frosting.




Cub Scout Blue & Gold cake #2. The invitations were mock pocket knives, so they wanted one of the cakes to imitate them. This cake was a basic yellow cake with chocolate filling and covered in buttercream. The knife is made from fondant.



I made this simple cake to see if it would survive being tossed around by the postal service and it did! It's a chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream and covered with chocolate marshmallow fondant. The flowers, leaves and bee are made from gum paste.



This is a 10 inch round chocolate cake with orange flavored buttercream frosting. The client wanted the Toy Story theme for her little boy, who was turning 3. He loved it.



My first 'pillow' cake! I just made this one for fun (and to to see if I could do it).

Busy Saturday

This cake is a marbled chocolate and yellow cake with a stabalized whipped frosting. The golf bag, clubs and flag are made out of gum paste and the putting green is made out of fondant.



This cake is for Alondra and Emily's birthday party. One loves pink and the other loves blue and this is what they came up with. The flowers are made with blue fondant and have a soft pink candy pearl in the center. The top tier is a yellow cake with strawberry filling, strawberry frosting and strawberry fondant and the bottom is chocolate cake with the same strawberry everything! (I think they like strawberries?)

Valentine Cupcakes

These were for the kids' classes at school. They were chocolate cake with buttercream frosting and topped with fondant hearts that were sprinkled with pink shimmer dust. Cute, huh?

Sweet 16

This one is for a girl who's turning 16 today. Her mom called and said, "She likes chocolate and the colors for her party are black, silver and pink. Do what you want!" So I had a lot of fun with this one. I couldn't find silver pearls anywhere so I ended up making my own with silver shimmer dust and white pearls. I think it turned out pretty cute! What do you think??

Heart Cake

This was a strawberry cake with banana filling and covered in fondant. The flowers and hearts are made of gumpaste with some shimmer dust on them to make them sparkle.

Garbage Truck Cake!

This cake was covered with fondant. I used gum paste to make the garbage cans and pieces of paper that are laying around. The four year old I made it for was super excited. It turned out pretty good!
