APRIL FOOL'S!

My mother in law had a great idea for an April Fool's Day prank, so I stole it from her! I made a meatloaf 'cake' and frosted it with mashed potatoes, gave the kids 'kool-aid' that was really cherry jell-o and served 'dinner' for dessert. They had ice cream mashed potatoes with caramel gravy, meatballs that were really mini Idaho Spud bars and peas & carrots that were little jaw breakers. They all had a lot of fun and were really excited to get cake for dinner until we cut into it, they saw the meatloaf and I yelled, "April Fools!" Ahhh... good times.
