My friend loves to sew and her husband thought that a sewing themed cake would be fun. I made a 14" pillow cake (chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling) and covered it in marshmallow fondant. Then I 'quilted' the fondant and added little sugar pearls. The little quilt is made from fondant, the pin cushion and spools of thread are made from Rice Krispie treats and covered in fondant. Such a fun cake to make!

A teddy bear birthday cake for a 3 year old little boy! This was a chocolate fudge cake with banana cream filling and then covered in marshmallow fondant. The 'presents' are Rice Krispie Treat squares that are covered in fondant and I shaped the bear out of chocolate fondant.

The Relief Society birthday cake! They're all covered with a stabilized whipped frosting (which NEVER is as smooth as fondant, dang it). The smallest cake was chocolate with chocolate filling, the middle one was chocolate with raspberry filling and the largest cake was a yellow cake with lemon curd filling. Lots of gum paste flowers and a gum paste bumble bee on top made them bright and ready for Spring.

This was a really fun cake to make! It's for a little girl who's turning one. The cap of the mushroom is golden vanilla cake with raspberry filling and the stem is chocolate cake with raspberry filling. The rest is fondant and a little creativity.

These cupcakes were for my nephew who just got baptized. Lots of different kinds of cake topped with a whipped butter cream. I piped the CTR shields with melted chocolate so that they'd stand up like I wanted them to.

This is a chocolate cake, ganache filling and orange frosting topped with a rolled butter cream/fondant mix. The client is someone who was celebrating her 29th birthday and she thought that a "Roaring 20's" cake would be appropriate, so I added feathers! We traveled 2 hours to deliver the cake and added a string of pearls to the top once we arrived.

Cupcakes for a baby shower. The client wanted the decorations to match the invitations, so that's what we did. It's a chocolate cake with ganache filling and a raspberry butter cream on top.
