A Tron cake for Hunter. This is a chocolate cake with butter cream filling and then covered in black fondant. I'm shipping this one to Utah for his birthday on Thursday!

Graduation sheet cakes! These were for cousins who were sharing a family party to celebrate their high school graduations. They're both vanilla cakes, one with a Bavarian cream filling and the other a strawberry cream filling.

The client called me and told me she wanted something special for her anniversary. They like going to the movies together, so this is what we came up with. The bottom layer is a low-sugar yellow cake with sugar free chocolate pudding for the filling. The top is a mocha-chocolate cake (also low sugar) with a sugar free vanilla pudding filling. The cake is covered in marshmallow fondant and topped with 'popcorn' made from white chocolate.

A cupcake cake! Made because a girl loves her mom. She wanted something unique and fun that her mother would love for her birthday, so we took a couple dozen cupcakes and made huge flowers with them. Lemon cupcakes covered in lemon buttercream - yum!

This is a Tres Leches (or three milk, for my non-Spanish speaking friends) cake that was made for the client's baby who is getting baptised. It's basically a vanilla cake that has a mix of three different milks poured over it while it's still warm and can soak in. The milks are evaporated, sweetened condensed and heavy cream. The cake is topped with a whipped cream frosting and some fresh strawberries. It's a very delicious cake, but VERY rich.

This is a luau cake for a high school graduate. The bottom layer is a vanilla cake with pineapple filling and the top is a chocolate cake with cream cheese filling. The cakes are covered in marshmallow fondant and decorated with fondant flowers.

This cake is a BSU Broncos sheet cake. I have a friend who's family LOVES our dear Boise State football team and so we make a lot of orange and blue cakes.

This and that...

My daughter's birthday was yesterday and we celebrated on Friday with her friends. When I asked her what kind of a cake she wanted, she drew a picture for me so that I would be sure to get it right! Hahaha! She wanted blue with stripes and polka dots so that's what we did. I have a mat that you can lay on fondant and press into it to get the printed "Happy Birthday." She loved it!

I made this cake as a prize for a raffle I did at a bazaar this last weekend. It was a chocolate cake with raspberry filling and then covered in marshmallow fondant. I made the flowers out of fondant and then 'quilted' the sides.

The family that ordered this cake are HUGE Boise State fans and wanted to make sure that their one-year-old's birthday cake reflected that. (Hence the blue and orange) They liked this one so much that they've ordered a sheet cake for this weekend wit more BSU inspired decorations.
